SDSRM’s “Winter Wonderland” Christmas tree up for Bids

You can support the South Dakota State Railroad Museum’s operations, as well as save yourself a “sleigh full” of time and work by bidding to win a custom decorated

Christmas tree this year. The Museum’s “Winter Wonderland” Christmas tree is flocked in white snow with pine cones, red berries, colorful birds and a variety of burlap accessories. It is an instant conversation piece for any setting or home display. The tree will be available for viewing in the lobby of the South Dakota State

Railroad Museum in Hill City from early November until December 7, during the Museum’s annual Trees and Trains exhibition. Bids on the tree (minimum bid $250.00) are being accepted by the Museum (email at sdsrrm@gmail.com) until December 7 at noon, and in person at the Hill City Chamber mixer (5:30 to 6:00 p.m).

The final silent auction of the tree will take place on Thursday, December 7 during the Hill City Chamber’s mixer event. The winning bidder will be announced during the mixer at 6:30 p.m. The tree will then be delivered to the winning bidder’s home or business by the SDSRM staff. For further information call 605-574-9000 or email Rick at sdsrrm@gmail.com.
